A security volunteer and local residents were injured Tuesday morning in a bomb attack in Pattani's Mae Larn district.
Tossapon Luanseng and other volunteers were rushing to a site after being alerted that insurgents burnt tires on a road in Tambon Mae Tia when an explosive went off.
He and five local residents were sent to Mae Larn hospital.
