Police to hand Akeyuth case to prosecutors

Police will wrap up their investigation into the abduction and killing of businessman Akeyuth Anchanbutr and submit the results to the public prosecutor this week, Metropolitan Police deputy chief Anuchai Lekbumrung said yesterday.
Insisting that investigators had carefully examined the evidence and details of the case to prevent mistakes and remove any doubt, Anuchai said police remained focused on robbery as the motive in the killing, while investigators continued to look for the missing valuables taken from Akeyuth.
