Narong Rat-amarit to be nominated as new NACC member

The selection committee Tuesday selected Narong Rat-amarit, a retired official of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, as a new NACC commissioner.
If endorsed by the Senate, Narong will replace Klanarong Chanthik who has resigned.
Narong was yesterday selected by the selection committee, whose four members are Supreme Court President Direk Ingkhaninan, Supreme Administrative Court President Hassawut Withitwiriyakul, House Speaker Somsak Kiartsuranon and Opposition leader Abhisit Vejjajiva.
Narong’s nomination will be submitted to the Senate for endorsement.
