Minority panel members register opinions against amnesty bill

The special House committee vetting the amnesty bill Thursday allowed its members to present their opinions why they disagree with resolutions of the majority during the vetting.

The session will continue Friday.
The opinions would be put in the report to be later presented to the House meeting during the second reading of the bill.
Committee chairman Samart Kaewmechai, from Pheu Thai Party, said he did not try to conclude the vetting so that the bill could be returned to the House soon. But, he said, the bill has only a few articles so the vetting could be completed fast.
