Fund to help Thai-Muslim students to return to Egypt

A Bt46-million budget has been approved to help more than 1,200 students return to Egypt to continue their studies, after they fled the country a few months ago to escape the political violence.
The funds recommended by the Budget Bureau would come from two unused deposits belonging to the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre, said deputy government spokesperson Sunisa Lertpakawat.
