Six killed in Pattaya ferry accident

A ferry capsized Sunday afternoon in Pattaya, leaving 6 tourists dead and 26 injured. Some passengers are still missing.
Pattaya police said that among the dead are 2 Russians, a Chinese national and three Thais.
Leaving Koh Lan - an island off Pattaya, the ferry named "Koh Lan Travel 1" capsized and sank. Passengers were found swimming in the sea before the rescue team arrived. Over 150 passengers were on board.
At 9pm, it was reported that from 9 passengers sent to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, 3 were dead. Of 15 passengers sent to Pattaya Memorial Hospital, 3 were dead. The Navy divers are now looking for the missing passengers.
