Paradorn: soldiers not needed for crowd control

The anti-amnesty protests remain under the control of police as the situation does not warrant deploying soldiers, National Security Council secretary general Paradorn Pattanatabut said on Thursday.
“Police forces are in charge of peacekeeping at this juncture,” he said.
Paradorn ruled out the expansion of Internal Security Act enforcement.
