At 12.20pm Monday Senate speaker Nikom Wairatpanij tried to ask senators to start first reading deliberation of the amnesty bill, and told them to stop the informal discussion that they spent mostly for squabbling over the Friday incident.
However, some senators on the queue still want to speak to defend themselves for not attending Senate meeting on Friday. Nikom then allowed a few of them to speak for a few minutes each.
