Attorney general appoints panel to investigate Constitutional Court petition against Suthep

Attorney General Atthapol Yaisawang has appointed a committee to look into a petition that asked him to seek an order from the Constitutional Court to stop the on-going protests.
The petition alleged that the protests led by former Democrat MP Suthep and other groups violated Article 68 of the Constitution so the Constitutional should issue an injunction to order the protesters to stop immediately.
Atthapol ordered the panel to speed up checking the petition for passing on the court.
