Ramkamhaeng University's Rector Wutthisak Larpcharoensap said that all students trapped inside the university compound were already rescued.
They are now safe, Wutthisak said, adding they were transported from the university to a temple where they would leave for their places.
He did not reveal the number of the students rescued. They hid in the university following fatal crashes between red supporters and some students.
Four were killed and many others injured in the clashes.
