Surapong explains situation to envoys from Asean nations

Caretaker deputy prime minister and foreign minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul said Thursday he invited foreign diplomats from nine Asean countries to explain about the current political circumstances.
Surapong said he was worried that some countries may not understand the People's Democratic Reform Committee’s action which has dismissed the Yingluck government as illegitimate one and attempted to form an interim government to run the country.
He said after the meeting that the foreign diplomats understood the situation.
