What believed to be a ping pong bomb or giant firecracker was hurled at a house of Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva late on Soi Sukhumvit 31 Tuesday night.
No one was injured in the explosion because no one was living there.
Thonglor police station chief Pol Col Chumpol Pumpuang said police was alerted of the explosion at 11:20pm. Police checked the scene and found that the explosion caused a big hole on the house’s roof.
