Memorial service for Prof Smarn Muntarbhorn's wife at Wat That Thong

A memorial service for Niramol Muntarbhorn, the wife of late Prof Smarn Muntabhorn, is held at Wat That Thong from Thursday to January 22.
The service is held at about 6 pm at the temple which is next to the Ekamai BTS station.
Smarn was a pioneer surgeon. In gratitude for his untiring effort to elevate the field of cardiac surgery to its present standard, he has been awarded a Royal Honorary Doctorate in Thailand and has recently been appointed as the ‘Father of Thai Cardiac Surgery'.
