Police seek warrants for duo behind palace attack

Arrest warrants will soon be obtained for two suspects believed to be behind a grenade attack on Bangkok's Suan Pakkad Palace - a property associated with Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra, who is also deputy Democrat leader.
The attack, which took place at around 21.44pm on Thursday night, hurt nobody but damaged a vehicle parked inside the six-rai compound. Some trees were also damaged.
Pol General Ake Angsananont said Friday that those responsible for this attack might have also been responsible for the grenade attack on Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva’s home on Tuesday.
