STR-led protesters told to return to rally site for fear of assassination

Nasser Yima, the chief security guard of the Students and People's Network for Thailand's Reform, told STR-led protesters to return to their rally stage at the Chamai Maruchet Bridge.
Nasser told the protesters to return to the rally site after one protest leader and nine other protesters led by the People’s Democratic Reform Committee were shot at the Bang Na polling station at Wat Sri-iam.
Nasser said the opposite side might attempt to assassinate leaders of the protesters so the STR cancelled its plan to rally at the Bangkok Yai polling station.
