BOT to further operate from backup office

Bank of Thailand will further operate from its backup office from February 27 onwards, as it has been doing since January 13.
The central bank, with headoffice in the inner city area of Bang Khunphrom, moved to its backup centre on January 13, as protesters seized many areas in Bangkok.
Since January 13 when the anti-government protestors kicked off the "Bangkok shutdown" campaign, the central bank has operated from the backup office in Nakhon Pathom.
For new banknotes, the general public can contact Krungthai Bank's Central Pinklao Tower A and Si Ayutthaya branches.
