Malaysia Airlines to retire flight codes; MH370, 371

As a mark of respect to the passengers and crew of missing MH370, Malaysia Airlines decided to retire the flight code; MH370 and MH370 from Kuala Lumpur- Beijing-Kuala Lumpur route.
With effect from March 14, the new flight number to replace MH370 and MH371 will be: MH 318 – Kuala Lumpur-Beijing and MH 319 - Beijing - Kuala Lumpur.
In its statement issued Thursday, the airlines said there are no changes to the frequency of the services and it will continue to operate double daily services to Beijing.
It concluded that the thoughts and prayers remain with the families of the colleagues and passengers of MH 370 that is still missing after it departed Kuala Lumpur on Saturday early morning.
