TUESDAY, APRIL 01, 2014

First Army Corps Commander Lt Gen Walit Rojanaphakdee has been appointed the new commander of the Fourth Army Area.

The appointment was approved by a royal command and was announced Monday night. It took effect Tuesday.
Walit, who led a crackdown on the red-shirt protesters in April 2010, has seen his promotion frozen until this mid-year reshuffle.
