The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives reported Wednesday that some 670,000 farmers out of 800,000 have been paid for what the government owed to them under the rice-pledging scheme.
The BAAC has been paying the farmers since May 26 under the order of the National Council for Peace and Order.
