During the two-day trip, Sihasak is expected to meet with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen to explain Thailand’s political developments and discuss its foreign policy, focusing on joint development in the border area.
Sihasak also hopes to discuss labour reform in Thailand with the prime minister.
Hun Sen has agreed already on cooperation between the two countries in these matters.
The trip to Phnom Penh was scheduled after more than 100,000 Cambodians returned to their motherland amid rumours of a Thai crackdown on illegal migrant workers.
