NCPO endorses 2015 fiscal year budget bill

The National Council for Peace and Order Tuesday approved the Bt2.575-trillion budget bill for the 2015 fiscal year, Budget Bureau Director Somsak Choteratanasiri said.
Speaking to reporters after a the weekly meeting of the NCPO, Somsak said the 2015 budget bill would see a deficit of Bt250 billion.
Somsak said the bill would be checked by the Office of the Council of State and would be sent back to the NCPO for a final approval before it will be tabled to the National Legislative Assembly on August 6. The NLA has yet to be set up under the provision of an interim charter, which has yet to be enacted.
