Panadda irons out differences with provincial officials

Panadda Diskul, permanent secretary of the PM's Office Ministry, Tuesday ironed out differences with local administrative organisations after officials were angered by his Facebook post claiming some of them were living in the lap of luxury.
Panadda also dismissed speculation that local administrative organisations would be disbanded, saying such a move was impossible in the “age of democracy”.
He was speaking after three agencies, namely the National Municipal League of Thailand, the Association of the Provincial Administrative Organisations (PAO) of Thailand and the Association of the Tambon Administrative Organisations of Thailand, met him to discuss decentralisation policies and budget transparency.
