Kiwis celebrate education anniversary

This month, New Zealand will celebrate 20 years of showcasing its high quality education system to Thai families when Education New Zealand (ENZ) hosts the annual education fair in Bangkok.

ENZ is the New Zealand government agency responsible for marketing the country’s quality education internationally.
On September 20, students and their parents will be able to explore international study opportunities available in New Zealand, when 47 New Zealand education institutions visit Bangkok. This year’s theme for the fair is “New Experiences, New Ideas”.
Ziena Jalil, regional director of ENZ, said: “The fact that New Zealand education institutions have visited Thailand every year for 20 years to showcase their campus, courses and scholarships to Thai students illustrates our long term commitment to Thailand.
“With more than 3,000 Thai students studying in New Zealand this year, New Zealand is already providing high quality education and life-changing experiences for many Thai students.
“This year’s New Zealand education fair offers a one-stop shop for Thai students and their parents considering secondary schools, English language, vocational training and tertiary education for international study.”
The fair will be the peak event in September following ENZ’s August roadshow to Thai secondary schools in Bangkok to promote New Zealand study opportunities, particularly English-language courses.
ENZ visited three schools and participated in the exhibition held by the network of Thai public schools offering English and mini English language programmes.
New Zealand provides an excellent opportunity for international students to study in an English language environment and experience a quality of education and lifestyle few countries can match. To register for the fair, please go to http://www.studyinnewzealand.com/fair/thailand
