Justice minister tells prison chiefs to eliminate drug, phones from prisons

Justice Minister Paiboon Khumchaya has vowed to take actions against prison chiefs if any banned items such as illicit drugs and cell phones are found at their correctional facilities.
Paiboon announced his tough stance Friday.
“We won’t tolerate any presence of banned items,” he said.
He was speaking after he gave his policies to the chiefs of prisons across the country.
