Yala on alert for possible insurgency attacks

Acting Yala Governor Samart Waradisai has ordered all district chiefs, tambon leaders and village heads to be on alert for possible attacks by Muslim insurgents this month that will see anniversaries of several important days of insurgent groups.
Intelligence agencies have warned that the groups might step up attacks on the occasions of their anniversaries.
