Tokyo (dpa) - Toyota Motor Corp is recalling about 1.75 million vehicles, including the Lexus luxury sedan, to repair flaws including defective brakes, the carmaker said Wednesday.

Toyota announced three recalls involving more than a dozen models.
About 1.05 million units are being recalled in Japan, 423,000 in the United States, 98,400 in China and 36,000 in Europe.
About 802,000 units, including Crown and Noah models, are being called back over problems with the brake master cylinder, Toyota said.
The world-largest carmaker is also recalling 759,000 cars to repair the gasket seating surface of the fuel delivery pipe.
Some 190,000 Toyota Corolla Rumion and Auris in Japan are being called back to replace the fuel evaporative emission control unit with an improved one.
The carmaker said it was not aware of any accidents, injuries, or fatalities caused by any of the defects.
