HM's condition improves

His Majesty's "nutritional" condition has improved and he no longer requires intravenous feeding, a statement from the Royal Household Bureau said.

The bureau also said sutures from His Majesty’s recent operation had also been removed. The monarch underwent a successful gallbladder removal earlier this month. As of press time, His Majesty was still receiving treatment at Siriraj Hospital.
The surgery wound has healed satisfactorily, it said, and His Majesty’s temperature, heartbeat and blood pressure were also at normal levels. “His Majesty can sleep well,” the statement added.
