Mercury in North to drop by two to four degrees

The Meteorological Department Monday predicted that the temperature in northern provinces would drop by two to four Celsius degrees during the day.
The department said a strong high pressure ride from China has moved down to cover the North of Thailand, resulting in the drop in the temperature.
The mercury on mountaintops in the regions would be around 10 to 14 Celsius degrees.
