Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok is the most popular destination among foreigners while Prathat Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai province is most liked by Thais.
Flight search engine JetRadar based their finding on more than three million web searches from both foreigners and Thais.
Sunday Market (58.25 per cent) tops the list of most interesting destinations among foreign tourists, followed by Patong Beach in Phuket (58.35 per cent) and Koh Samui in Surat Thani province (6.79 per cent)
Among the Thais, the Emerald Buddha Temple in Bangkok came second with 24.7 per cent and Gimyong Market in Hat Yai, Songkhla came third with 9.3 per cent.
