Royal Thai Navy representatives welcome Commodore Htay Naing and Myanmar naval officers from the UMS Mahar Bandoola frigate at Chon Buri's Sattahip Naval Base yesterday afternoon.
The Myanmar officers also visited the base’s commandant, Vice Admiral Wipaks Noichinda, to promote bilateral naval ties. This visit, which lasts until Friday, is the first time a Myanmar warship has docked at Sattahip port and will feature friendly activities including a volleyball match.
