Cabinet to deliberate bill to change ICT ministry's name next week

A bill to change the name of Information and Communications Technology Ministry to the Digital for Economy and Society Ministry will be submitted to the Cabinet next week, Deputy Prime Minister Pridiyathorn Devakula said Thursday.
The bill will also seek to set up the National Digital Economy Committee. The Cabinet will also be asked to deliberate six bills related to digital economy policy by the end of this month, the deputy prime minister said.
