Ten Rohingya detainees escape from Phang Nga immigration office

Ten Rohingya people escaped from detention at the Phang Nga immigration office early Monday. Immigration police at the centre learned about the escape at 2:30 am.
The immigrants climbed through the ceiling of a toilet room on the second floor and used a rope made from blankets to hoist themselves to the ground outside the detention centre. A total of 165 illegal immigrants were being detained at the centre.
