Thienchay concerned about media control by businesses

National Reform Council President Thienchay Kiranandana has expressed concern that business groups would seek to control the media by buying their shares in the stock market.
He said the control could happen because media firms have been listed in the stock market. The control would deprive the media of their press freedom, he added.
