Walking Streets planned in five other areas

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration plans to extend its Walking Street project to five other areas after its success in Silom.

The project aims to open up opportunities for business operators affected by the BMA’s re-organisation of footpaths, which led to a ban on sales activities in pedestrian areas.
The new locations are Chaeng Wattana Rd, Yaowarat Rd, Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24, Bang Khun Non Rd, and the road under the Rama IX Bridge.
