Bt20 million given to support Myanmar's anti-narcotics efforts

Thailand's anti-narcotics agency has given Bt20 million to Myanmar's counterpart body under a joint agreement to fight rampant drug abuse in both countries.
A ceremony to sign the pact and hand over the money was held at the Office of the Narcotics Control Board Friday, with Myanmar’s national police chief participating as head of the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control.
The agreement was approved by the Cabinet on January 13.
