The Junior Dublin Literary Awards for Thailand will mark their 10-year milestone with a gala dinner and awards ceremony at Bangkok's Rembrandt Hotel today.

Thailand’s largest English-language essay contest is held yearly by The Nation with support from the Embassy of Ireland, Outsource Client Solutions (OCS), Kerry Group and the Irish-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
“We are pleased to be an inspiration to young Thais wanting to become good and creative writers in English – the global language of communication,” said Pana Janviroj, president of The Nation and Nation Junior magazine.
This national essay contest is held annually across the nation, and this year has seen some 1,000 submissions under the theme “Two Worlds”.
Ireland’s Ambassador to Thailand, Brendan Rogers, will be part of the judging committee and will present awards to the winners and deliver an address to the 150 attendees, including students, their parents, teachers, academics and media.
