Some 2.5million tourists to generate 14.5bn income during Songkran

Tourism and Sports Minister Korbkarn Wattanavrangkul Tuesday reported to the weekly Cabinet meeting that some 2.5 million tourists are expected to visit tourist spots in Thailand from April 11 to 19 and generate income of Bt14.5 billion for the country.
She said 500,000 of them will be foreign tourists.
