Bt3.6bn worth of fake goods destroyed
A total of 973,202 pieces of fake goods that imitated popular brand names were destroyed in Pathum Thani at 10 am Thursday.
Deputy Commerce Minister Apiradee Tantraphon presided over the ceremony to destroy the goods that violated intellectual property rights and caused damage worth Bt3.676 billion. The goods included clothes, handbags, watches, sports shoes, mobile phones, glasses, and cosmetics.
