64 Cambodian illegal immigrants rounded up in Sakaew

Immigration police, border patrol police and local police jointly raided a building with rented rooms behind the Rong Klua market at 5 am Wednesday and rounded up 64 Cambodians for having illegally sneaked across the border into the country.

They have no travelling papers and worker identification cards issued by the Thai authorities. They admitted that they were hiding in the rented rooms waiting to be smuggled to Bangkok.
