Yala police chief transferred following 40 bomb attacks in three days
Yala Police Commander Pol Maj Gen Tanongsak Wangsupha was Monday transferred to an inactive post at the Royal Thai Police Operations Centre following over 40 bomb attacks in the southern border during the past three days.
Pol Maj Gen Somsak Wathaping, deputy commander of the Southern Police Forward Command, was appointed acting Yala police chief. The transfers took immediate effect.
