The DSI asked the NACC to probe and punished the DPE officials involved in the alleged corruption relating to a October 2013 purchase contract signed by DPE with a private company.
The decision came after the DSI’s Bureau of Security Crime found that products were bought at prices 1,000 per cent more expensive than import prices or about 10 times more expensive than market prices, DSI deputy chief Pol Lt-Colonel Pong-in Intarakhao said.
