Assets of 26th UFUN suspect seized

Police Friday confiscated gold bars, ornaments and other valuables worth around Bt2 million from a bank safety deposit box that allegedly belonged to a suspect linked to the so-called UFUN pyramid scheme.

The valuables include gold, luxury watches and large amounts of cash, and belong to Weeratwit “Alex” Jaruphatphaisal, the 26th suspect in the alleged investment scheme, who is now in hiding overseas, police said.
Police were acting on a tipoff from Weerawit’s brother Thanin Kiatchalermkhun.
