Northern red shirts promise not to protest against Chiang Mai Cabinet retreat

Pichit Tamool, a leader of the red-shirt movement in Chiang Mai, told a press conference Sunday that his group and fellow red shirts from all 17 northern provinces will not stage a protest when a Cabinet retreat is held in Chiang Mai on Monday and Tuesday
Pichit said the red shirts still give more time for the government to solve the country’s problems.
