Two alleged armed robbers who "waied" staff after |robbing 7-Eleven convenience stores in Bangkok on Friday night were arrested yesterday morning.

Deputy national police chief General Reungsak Charit-ek said police arrested the duo – identified as Ritthikiat Sirichun, 20, and Autthapun Komkum, 19 – and seized a handmade gun with six rounds of ammunition and their getaway motorcycle at a Din Daeng flat.
The men allegedly robbed stores in the jurisdictions of Suthisan, Din Daeng, Phya Thai and Bang Sue police.
The suspects allegedly confessed that they had not originally planned to rob the stores but randomly began doing so, and waied staff as thanks for their cooperation in handing over cash.
“Or else we would have shot them if they resisted us,” the suspects alleged said.
Police will drug test them.
They are facing charges of armed robbery, having an illegal gun and ammunition, and carrying a weapon in public without a sound reason.
