Policy rate maintained at 1.5%

The Bank of Thailand's Monetary Policy Committee today agreed to maintain the policy rate at 1.5 per cent.
The committee were of the view that
monetary policy stance should continue to be adequately accommodative, the central bank said in a statement.
"(MPC) will stand ready to utilise an appropriate mix of available policy tools in order to support the economic recovery, while maintaining long-term economic and financial stability."
