Somkid pays respect to shrines in Government House

Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak kicked off his work as the economic czar of the Prayut Cabinet II by paying respect to shrines in the Government House compound Monday morning.
He paid respect to the Lord Brahma shrine on the roof of Thai Kufah Building at 6:45 am before he went downstairs to pay respect to spirits shrines outside the building.
He declined to give an interview to reporter, saying shortly that he would consult the prime minister on the policies before he would talk to reporters later in the day.
