Supreme Court clears ex-foreign minister

The Supreme Court on Friday rule in favour of former foreign minister Noppadon Pattama after finding him not guilty of committing malfeasance for supporting an agreement that allowed Cambodia to unilaterally seek the listing of the Preah Vihear temple as

The National Anti-Corruption Commission had filed a lawsuit against Noppadon in March 2013 with Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Person, accusing him of supporting a joint communique in 2008 without seeking approval from parliament.
Noppadon on Friday attended the Court ruling and wept after hearing the verdict.
