Representatives from 20 countries and over 300 universities will be in Bangkok to talk with students and their parents at an International Education Expo 2015 next month.
Organisers, the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC), said the expo would be a great chance for Thai families to see and hear what the 20 most popular host countries in the world have to offer in education opportunities.
Under the theme of “Me and My Future Education” the visitors will give information in direct discussions about preparation, scholarships, study courses, life and living abroad.
Guides will offer advice on the most popular fields such as Engineering and Science, the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), Scholastic Assessment Test (New SAT), Statement of Purpose (SoP), University Matching Services, Counselling Session Services, and language trial tests such as the Online English Test, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), and Tests of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
OCSC staff will outline government scholarships, and explain tutorials required to compete for a scholarship. Speakers from both government and private sector will be invited to present self-awareness tips.
The expo will be at Royal Paragon Hall on Siam Paragon’s fifth floor from 12pm to 6pm on November 14 and 15.
Foreign involvement will come from Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Spain, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the US.
