Meechai meets Prayut to discuss CDC chairmanship

Meechai Ruchupan met with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha brieftly Friday afternoon to discuss about his chairmanship to the new charter drafting committee.
Prayut said Friday morning that the potential candidate was expexted to answer later in the day whether or not he would take the post.
Meechai have a 50-minute meeting with the PM in the afternoon, The Nation’s source said. But the detail had not been disclosed.
Prayut said earlier in the day that he would let Meechai see the proposed names of members of the Constitution Drafting Committee before Meechai would make the dicision, adding that should Meechai turn down the offer, the involved agents would look for another candidate.
Prayut insisted that he would have all the 21 names by Monday.
