Thailand's Princess Sirindhorn and a delegation of about 30 have visited the Shwe Taung Sarr pagoda in Dawei and the Dawei Special Economic Zone in Tanintharyi Region.

She arrived at Dawei airport on a special Thai Royal Air Force plane on October 3 and inspected the Dawei SEZ.

The delegation then visited the Shwe Taung Sarr pagoda, the pride of Dawei, and the Lawka Marazein pagoda. They went to the pagoda museum which exhibits the region’s cultural history.

They later flew to Yangon before visiting Myeik on Sunday.
